David Bennett

A photography seminar Dave once attended posed the question: Is a photographer a vital part of the community? There is no question that the fire department, the police department, the hospital, the grocery store are all vital, but is the photographer? In the event of a disaster, after their own lives, what do people run to save? Their memories. Their keepsakes. Their photographs. Photography is as much our daily bread as is the loaf we pick up from Kroger.

Dave has been a photographer since the moment he picked up a twin lens over 20 years ago in high school and began capturing the Midland Lee Rebels on film. His training continued in Houston and Austin, where his discovery that lighting and exposure are what define the truly gifted inspired him to master the art.

During his free time, he can be found on a trail riding his mountain bike, playing soccer, camping with scouts, or on the floor wrestling with his three active children.

Tara Bennett

As the mom of 10, 7, and 3 year old children, Tara finds the time she spends working is an oasis to the busyness of life. She enjoys the social element to visiting with clients, getting to know them, and unwrapping their needs, as well as the quiet excitement of originating new ideas and allowing the process to unfold. Her education as a photojournalist has helped her to absorb the details of living and release them again when working creatively.

Though "free time" is a concept she is presently largely unfamiliar with, when an unclaimed moment does happen to float by, she grabs it... along with a good book and a white chocolate latte.
